Our mission at Canopy is to support all creatives in the Forest of Dean and our Artist Talks are a fabulous way for the community to join exhibiting artists to learn more about their art practice, inspiration and work on display.
The current exhibition “Blooming in Newnham” is a celebration of all things botanical, showcasing local artists working in painting, ceramics, drawing , prints and collage by Kate Baugh, Sharon Harvey, Jenny Jop, Denise Roberts, TKb_Presses, Shanna Ludwig, Mike Griffiths, Carolyn Black.
The gallery is located in a medieval timber framed house on the High Street of this historic village and is a place to view accomplished works in an intimate and beautiful setting alongside a working artists studio.
At 6pm on Thursday Oct 13th, artists Kate Baugh, Carolyn Black and Sharon Harvey will each give a short presentation of their work, processes and inspiration with a live Q&A after within the beautiful setting of this stunning new gallery.
