Live Performances Coming to Newent Saturday Market!
In partnership with Newent Town Council, Canopy is introducing a new programme of live performances at Newent’s Saturday Market—taking place on the third Saturday of every month from January 2026. Designed to enhance the shopping experience and bring fresh energy to the town centre, these performances will feature a variety of local talent, from musicians to artists and drama groups. Free Flower Collage Workshop
Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable creative session for local residents. We’ll be using paint sticks, simple paper-tearing techniques and gentle gluing to create a beautiful flower collage. No experience needed – just come along, enjoy some company and time spent creating!

Volunteer Social Media Admin – Canopy
Canopy is seeking a volunteer Social Media Admin to support our Marketing Manager & Content Creator. Just 30 mins–1 hr per week, helping share content to local groups, monitor messages and approve or decline posts.
Work remotely with flexible hours and help promote arts festivals, workshops, and events supporting local artists, musicians, and performers across the Forest of Dean.
