Day of creativity marks a Cinderford milestone – The Forester
about the festival
Forest of Dean based creative organisations and creative community groups joined together for a combined arts event celebrating the opening of The Wesley (Cinderford Methodist Church) as the new Arts Centre for the Forest of Dean.
This festival brought local communities together and lifted spirits, and celebrated the diverse and wonderful creative talent available right on our doorstep. The range of opportunities provided encouraged young and old, families, the vulnerable, elderly and socially isolated to get involved.
Canopy arranged this event with the support of Cinderford Town Council and with thanks to funding from Gloucestershire County Council; Thriving Communities and Build Back Better Market Towns Funds.
