Preschool Walk Roundup

On Tuesday, 27th May, Krysa led the pre schoolers walk at Angus Buchanan Park:

“We had a lovely time exploring the wildflower meadow at Angus Buchanan VC Recreation ground even though the weather was a little wet! The children looked for different coloured flowers to see if they could use them to make interesting marks in their books.

We also taped the flowers in so they can reference them and add more at a later date whilst naming as many different plants as we could whilst creating a weave.

The children found clover, buttercups, oxide daisies, bird’s foot trefoil, cowslip and pyramidal orchids, taking the time to look at the different colours and shapes of each.

The children also used the different types of grasses to paint in their books, creating some beautiful marks and different textures.” Krysa
