Schools workshops for Cinderford artsFEST

We’ve been busy preparing for Cinderford artsFEST with lots of preliminary workshops at schools and community centres, including:

Tissue paper stained glass windows! These little artists had a blast with us creating these beautiful stained glass windows for Cinderford artsFEST using just tissue paper, glue and their imaginations. Don’t they look wonderful? These were made by pupils at Forest View Primary School on a creative workshop with Krysa Haslewood and will be on display in the parade on Saturday 17th May.

Krysa will also be running a free drop-in workshop at The Wesley on Saturday from 1-4pm, why not join her and learn how to make a lovely stained glass window? This fun, easy craft is perfect for brightening up windows on a sunny day.

40 pupils from St White’s Primary School created these beautiful flags and banners and will be flying them at Cinderford artsFEST on Saturday 17th May.

Plus flags and banners made at CANDI Unlimited and Hilldene Community Centre, puppets and masks by Gloucestershire College students will be in the parade too.

Come along at 12pm to see their masterpieces shine on the streets of Cinderford. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday! You can see the full programme for the day at: https://canopynetwork.co.uk/cinderford-artsfest/
