These amazing puppets were made recently by Gloucestershire College Art & Design students during their industry experience week.
The students were tasked by Canopy with designing and creating articulated puppets with the theme of magical creatures and local folklore connected to the Forest of Dean. They undertook research and joined a workshop with a puppeteer before beginning work on their own very impressive designs. Next they’ll be photographing the completed puppets in the photography studios, we can’t wait to see the photos!
