Mark Jenkins’ exhibition ‘A New Chapter’ recently opened at the Secret Gallery, Newent, and we gathered for a lovely talk by Mark on Friday 29th November 2024. It was great to hear all about Mark’s inspiration and techniques.
Mark’s show is full of bold and bright landscapes in acrylic, watercolour and mixed media that really are food for the soul, and with canvas prints, cards and mugs of his beautiful work for sale, there are some great Christmas gift ideas too.
Mark says this is: ‘A personal exhibition of paintings and prints of all my favourite subjects, found in and around this beautiful county. Packed full of woodlands, rivers, streams, skies, animals, birds; nature at its best.’
Following the talk Mark said: ‘It was a lovely evening talking about my inspiration and journey regarding “A New Chapter”, thank you to everyone that came and to all of you that have visited the exhibition in the first week, giving me such lovely comments. It’s so appreciated. Thank you.’
